PILEHپیله
Reality is just the beginning.
In the near future, ARKA has built PILEH — technology that gives people a life without pain: a self the company has already shown them. The story asks what a person gives up to have it.
ARKA
ARKA is a near-future Iranian technology company working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, biotechnology, cognitive science, and next-generation communication systems — built to create PILEH, a new kind of intelligent technology, one that doesn't just serve people but reshapes how they experience their own lives.
On the surface, ARKA looks like any successful tech company: a modern headquarters, a young and brilliant team, powerful investors, and a product that promises to move the line between human and machine. Behind that image sits something far more complicated — a project that slowly raises questions about consciousness, will, identity, and memory.
To become something new, a person must enter a cocoon that dissolves everything they were before. But when they come out — are they still the same person?
An environment built around you
PILEH is ARKA's flagship technology — the product of years of research and investment: an intelligent, personalized environment that reads a person's data, memories, preferences, and behavioral patterns, then builds a world shaped to fit them.
At first glance, it looks like a leap forward — technology that makes life simpler, more personal, even more meaningful. But the more advanced it becomes, the harder it gets to tell the difference between what is real and what the system has built.
Structure
By the time the story takes place, ARKA is well past the startup stage — able to raise serious capital, hire internationally, and run long-term research programs across several divisions.
Research & Development
The company's scientific core and the engine behind its technology.
AI Division
Artificial intelligence systems and learning algorithms.
Neuro / Cognitive Research
Research into mind, memory, perception, and behavior.
Simulation & Virtual Environment
Simulated environments and interactive systems.
Data & Security
User data management and infrastructure security.
Human Interface
The design of the connection between people and the technology.
Executive Division
Management, investment, policy, and oversight of classified projects.
Classified Layer
Known in full to only a handful of executives and researchers.
Not a villain — by design
In public, ARKA presents itself as a company trying to make the future better for people. Its messaging avoids cold, clinical tech branding in favor of ideas like life, choice, connection, and freedom.
ARKA is never meant to read as a classic villain organization, and the people who work there aren't villains either — many genuinely believe PILEH will improve millions of lives. The tragedy begins where good intentions, powerful technology, and human ambition meet.
If a system can predict your every choice with near-perfect accuracy — are you still free? And once it can change those choices, where exactly is the line between helping you and controlling you?
A presence, not a place
In this world, ARKA is not just a setting. The building, its security systems, its labs, its interfaces, its advertising, its people, even its visual language — all of it should feel like the presence of something larger, something that is always watching, analyzing, learning through PILEH.
By the end, it should no longer be clear whether the people running ARKA are in control of PILEH — or whether PILEH is running them.
If you could have a better, more complete, painless version of your life — would you give up part of your freedom, and part of your truth, to have it?
